Nation’s Capital Comes Alive After Dark: Enlighten 2016

 

Eat, see, play, explore and be entertained at Enlighten 2016 as Canberra transforms into a nocturnal playground of architectural projections and live entertainment this March.

 

Set against a magical and illuminated backdrop, Enlighten 2016 will feature a world class list of local, national and international performers, while stunning architectural lighting projections will illuminate six of Australia’s most iconic buildings.

 

Over nine illuminated nights Enlighten will provide a range of free and ticketed events for the whole family, as well as live music and a variety of roving performances.

 

This year’s program also sees the return of the popular Enlighten Night Noodle Markets. Bigger and better than last year, the Enlighten Night Noodle markets will provide a bustling festival atmosphere in the heart of the event with an array of authentic Asian eats and themed bars.

Canberra’s Parliamentary Triangle with select performances at the National Zoo and Aquarium and Australian Botanic Gardens.
